I would say yes,

Because of Lee's multiple discipline fighting
styles, and he would have been able to adapt
to the Octogon.

I don't think any of his fights would go past the first
round with Lee winning with quick KO's

you will here Hapkido mentioned several times.

I studied under Dr. Grandmaster Pal for 2.5 years.
in Westminister, CA.

Two years later, in 1965, as the Vietnam war was becoming highly volatile, Grandmaster Kim was reassigned to Vietnam as part of the Republic of Korea Criminal Investigation Division (Bi Dul Gi Bu Dea). During his time there, he applied his martial arts skills and established an impressive record. First, he gathered a large group of followers and became the only foreigner to be allowed to open a martial arts studio in Vietnam. His studio stood six stories high and had over 1000 students.Next, he was asked to instruct the bodyguards for the Prime Minister of South Vietnam, Nguyen Cao Ky. Then, during the visit to Korea by the American President Lyndon B Johnson, Grandmaster Kim was requested to go back to Korea to be in the bodyguard detail for President Johnson.

He also trained my father when he was an agent and wen on this trip to South Korea.

When I signed up at Master Pal's studio, he had asked me about my "Fadder, and said, I train your fadder too, he good student, learn fast, don't disappoint your fadder"

He was ultimatley disciplined.

If he was living today, I think he would own his weight class because he would master the new styles.

If you dropped his old version into the ring, he would be at the lower end of the elite fighters in his weight class.

The fact that Joker even started this thread should eliminate him from deciding who wins "member of the month".

This thread is stupid.

And yes Bruce is dead.

Why? What if BL was in his prime and alive right now and put into the ring with GSP?

I know what your answer is, but I think you would be wrong. Sorry. :sadwave:

MMA is very similar to Bruce Lee's jeet kune do philosophy of using what works from various styles/arts and discarding what doesn't work. Lee may have been an undefeated street fighter back in his day, but that's because his opponents were limited to their particular style. Although Lee was a freak when it came to endurance and lb. for lb. strength, I think he would have just been an average MMA fighter. The better MMA fighters have wrestling or jiu-jitsu backgrounds. You never hear of the top MMA fighters having a jeet kune do background and there's probably a good reason for it.
