Game to start around 7:55 PM says the GM of Nassau Coliseum. The zamboni dug a hole in the crease during a pass. TV says that it's the NY Isles end that DiPietro will defend twice.

Personally - I'm hoping they postpone it so the B's don't get beat on B2B nights

Zamboni just made a couple more passes to build ice surface up and refreeze....more to come...

thanks for the updates mugs......FYI....Sports Illustrated just did an article about all the ice rinks in the NHL.....supposedly its getting worse and worse ......most all of the arenas got real bad ice ratings including here at the Staples which received one of the worst ratings.....im not sure if its worse if basketball is also played their or not

Teams are warmimg up on the ice...getting closer...TV says that it will be a short warmup, zamboni and GAME ON!

Potvin against DiPietro in case you guys hadn't heard.

Rex - Boston TV guys talked about bad ice surfaces. They were saying that all these new $300-$400 million dollar buildings, owners need revenue to cover costs of buildings. So they jam concerts, monster truck, ice shows, circus to fill dates and kill ice surfaces. Has some validity maybe not 100% true but who knows :shrug:

hmmm isn't staples center the most used arena in north america??? so i would think it would have the worst ice:shrug:

Trade - I don't know how well the surface is at Staples so I can't really comment. I was just repeating what I had heard.
