Why is cardale still starting?
At least the glimpses I've seen, he is not consistent enough to compete against the other premier teams
Last year was great, but 3 games doesn't allow opposing programs much time/film to prepare
Looks like he isn't nearly as comfortable or confident at this junction of 2015
As far as development, I think it was less advantageous having everyone rave about him and his small sample size of success rather then taking a wait and see approach
Hard for a kid who is fresh outta high school to learn humility when media is touting his skills so quickly....
I think he had little concern for off season preparation and enjoyed his celeb status....which many would, ecspecially at a young age.
It's all speculation of course on my part, but that's after reading qbout his situation
Jt Barrett is one of the most focused and driven young athletes I can recall and Urban Meyer has acknowledged that numerous times.
Its clear to see why he initially went with Cardale, after his early success and most outlets deeming him the #1 QB in the draft projections...but, I don't know how they haven't made the transition to Barrett. Cardale hasn't made adjustments to the game after opposing coaches have trried to make him play to his weaknesses
I know they are 5-0, but barely and against high school teams...
I think Urban best coach in nation so hate to question his decision making, but does anyone else think its time?
