That -42.5 for the USA was riiiisky, but I saw too much into that game. I just couldn't see how Korea could hold the USA under 100, and I wasn't convinced that Korea would score much over 50. Had it not been for that 1Q, Korea would've lost by 50+

Having watched all Australia games, I don't see any WAY that Aussies try and slow the tempo on USA.
They played a slower pace vs Aregentina and Croatia and went 0-2. Against Russia and Lithuania, they came out a completely different up tempo care free wide open offense and DESTROYED both teams.

I think they take the same attitude into this one. What do they have to lose after all as no one expects them to win(except me :mj07: ).

That said, that number is a big one for a 40 minute game. I am leaving it alone.

Lithuania actually could win, as could Croatia and Greece(although I think Argentina -4 is a STEAL).

Slowing it is their only option. No matter how much success you have had against other teams, you have to know who your opponent is.

I have no problem with them trying to speed it up, because they'll get tired and dead legs in the 4th quarter and have low outputs.

I honestly see USA winning this somewhere around 92-68 range.

It's the right play ESPNTED.

Aussies played USA in exhibition game and lost by 11 without Bogut. Now we have played better and gotten better since, I agree. The Australians have also came on strong since and are playing very good together now.

I can see USA winning by 20+, but I just don't see them winning by 30+. It's going to take a nightmare shooting effort from the Aussies and a good shooting effort by the USA for that to happen. Afterall, they only beat Angola by 20 who is I think were the worst team in the tournament. They beat China by 31, and I believe the Aussies are better than the Chinese.

I like Lithuania(-9.5) more than then Aussies.
China is just not that good.
Lithuania beat Argentina in the 1st game and have been going through the motions waiting for another big game.
I think the Aussies gave them a wake up call.

Lithuania wins by 20 in this one.
