Joe Thornton will undergo surgery tomorrow to stabilize his right cheekbone, which was lacerated and fractured in a fight on Monday, according to the Sports Network. "Joe will have this procedure tomorrow morning and we expect that he will be released from the hospital later in the day," said Bruins general manager Mike O'Connell. "He will miss (Thursday's) game versus the Sabres but will be on a day-to-day status after that."
