Anyone recommend a good bar to go watch the Syracuse game that is walking distance from HSBC arena?

I want to go watch the game inbetween the afternoon and evening session tomorrow night.

Any madjackers who will be at the game...I will be in section 307 , row 1 seat 8. Stop by and say hello

not sure how far it is from the arena....but....the anchor bar is famous for them there buffalo wings!!!

good luck!!!

:)

CB, gotta agree with ya there! The Anchor Bar is a MUST do, if you are into chicken wings and amature blues..........just don't dare go in there and call them "Buffalo Wings"....they are only called that in other parts of the country :) at the Anchor Bar, they are only "Wings" (given the Buffalo name, since that was where they were created)

Unfortunately, also can't tell you about the walking distance part. Can tell you tho, that Kick's idea about Casino Niagara is WAAAAYYYYY too far to walk ;)

Anchor bar is great but it is not walking distance. There are a few bars about 5or 6 blocks away going towards downtown One is a bright green building you can't miss, that was really good, can't remember the name though:shrug: Also drank at a holiday inn or something downtown. I went up there 4 years ago. Saw the general lose his last game at Indiana to Pepperdine. You'll be fine as everyone will looking for a bar since they probably won't serve beer at the games, like four years ago. Very upsetting. I'm OK now though:D
