I'd consider that ~maybe~ if it was 14-10, but not at this score. My basic rule of thumb for middling in this situation is I want a 3 to 8 point middle (don't ask how I came up with those exact numbers, but that's what I have found works best). Any less than 3 and the chances of it hitting are too remote. Any more than 8 and the original bet is too close to already winning, and you are just adding unnecessary risk, in my opinion.
In this case it would be an 11?-point middle for me....no go.
Also consider it's now a 7 point game instead of a 4 point game, which greatly increases the chances we could see OT.
