I am flying into your great city to do an Interview on Monday. I am wondering if I get/take this job where in the city would I want to live. Looking for rent around 1000 month in a nice neighborhood etc etc etc... My job will near Niagara University.

Canada. Kinda kidding. Haven't lived there for over 20 years. I would think if you want to live in the Buffalo area, Grand Island, Tonawanda, Kenmore are decent. Nice areas are Amherst Williamsville and Clarence. Niagara Wheatfield is also real nice, closer to the Falls.

from where your going to work you may want to try these area's

williamsville
west seneca
orchard park

to name a few nice places,amherst would be alot closer for you imo
