38-30-4 on the year, 1-3-1 yesterday.

One play today Buffalo HUGE ;)

I don't think Mario is playing today. Buffalo was up last meeting with a 6 minutes left and Pitt scored 4 goals to win. Today is payback. Buffalo 6-1-1 over last 8 games.

Probable goalies Sebastien Caron for Pittsburgh and Martin Biron for Buffalo. Pittsburgh has won all 3 meetings this year.

I am afraid of the Sabres in this spot. Returning from a 4 game road trip which they did quite well winning 3 of 4 and tie game in the other. 3 of the 4 went under the total. They are playing their best hockey over the last month but I am going to stay away from this one. GL with your play!

HORNS:)

Agree with HORNS. Caron is hot. Mario is questionable. Sabres 1st home game after long successful road trip. Too many conflicting angles and question marks. Pass for me. Interested in what the line will be like though.

Good luck today, stomie.

Mario is out for sure, Alexei Kovalev may be on the sidelines with him. Alexei plans to test his leg at this morning's skate before deciding whether he'll play.

Horns and Dubbs against this play, may not put as much as initially thought about.

Wasn't this the same situation that happened in Ottawa a week ago, after filling for bankruptcy, they're home crowd supported them and won big? I think it'll happen in Buffalo as well.

First off-don't expect the fans to come out to droves. This franchise is still in deep dog doo and Hamister is not getting the support he thought. Disney on Ice draws more right now.
Having said that the Sabres have played VERY well lately-but with VERY little offense. They return home off a tough stretch and they don't usually fire right up.
Pitts still has the O w\o Mario and has the ability to win this. Miller was the big reason for the turn around and with Biron in goal this may put a little added pressure on Marty.
I am not suggesting a big play on Pitts-but this Sabres team should not be giving -180 to anyone right now.
Suggestion:
1 unit Pitts
1 unit Over 5

Last I checked 13500 tickets sold. This has to be one of the largest crowds in a while. I went Friday when they played Boston a few weeks ago and they had about 9000 total.

I gotta say UNDER on this one. No Lemieux and no Kovalev (if all reports are accurate) and the Pens are really trying to protect the young goalie Sebastian Coran, so look for an all out defensive effort (or at least the best "D" this Pens team can muster) and a low scoring affair.

Penguin fan-nice call as well-total defensive battle. I noticed that I wrote Over-actually bet it under and Pitts +.5. Sabres have been playing great D-but they have no O right now. My buddy went to the game-said it was a snoozer.

Talk about being right for the wrong reason, really thought Kovalev was riding the bench last night, sorry for those I mis-led with that news.
