He had been fishing for a long while. He and Bill Simmons both not renewed cuz they were asking big money since ESPN has been throwing around cash with all these new cable deals for conferences and such, so they wanted a piece of the pie and ESPN can't afford them and like with all former ESPN up and comers, they leave, ie, Dan Patrick, Erin Andrews (cuz she's a pretty face and jock), Bonny Bernstein, Gayle Gardner (went to NBC in the day), Bill Patrick, Kenny Mayne you see less and less of on the tube, George Grande, Steve B and his wife both left, Steve is broadcaster for AZ d-Backs while his wife works at FOX as well, there are countless others, but most of the ol' timers are staying loyal and getting paid for it like Boomer, Tirico, Saunders, etc.

Terd has not announced what his role will be or what his new show will be but I can almost tell you, it will have something to do with football and picking teams, LOL. He's addicted to it!

Both pitchers about even and home plate goose will aid them both. VolQ is on a 4 game skid and Mort's arm is wearing down (surgery last year) - could be a bullpen by committee game early, I'd lean over the total which I just got at 7 1/2 but not posting it as a play.

I am however upping Orioles to 10 units now. Hoping Machado, Davis, Wieters and Jones' do what they are capable of since batting practice earlier.

OS, I have no beef at all with Colin. I'm happy he's looking after himself financially. He just moved out of Conn cuz he hates snow and ice! He's a west coaster and that's where he belongs.

He's very knowledgeable and much like me, we both hate to be wrrrrrrr....wrrrrr.....wrrrr... wrong about anything. He deserves what he gets, that's for sure.

The only thing I don't like is, since he's used that tool RJ Bell for info from Vegas his own personal picks have gone to shit and he's lost focus and the problem there is, he won't admit to it.

I hope he does well in his new endeavor! At least Phyllis won't miss him though (Bama fan).

LOL. Thanks OS!! Yeah, the "Terd" lingo is from Phyllis, the Bama fan gal who can't stand him.

I'll get to see him possibly next March as I go to Vegas for a convention. Still waiting on the dates and the resort we'll be staying.

On the MLB scene, dropped 9.25 units going 5-6, bad beats on O's and Jays. Still having a pretty good run since end of June/early July.

I need to get back to less than 7 plays per day, so off to study a bit more.
