Clev Bullpen.....has only closer Wickman,Karsay and Smith aviavable.

Pittsburgh closer Williams off b/b days 24,19

Montreal Bullpen...very overworked...blow up time late possible...

Phil bullpen...looks like not gomes or brock today...also...With his team having played a doubleheader yesterday, Phils manager Larry Bowa may rest some of his regular players today. With the lefthander Leiter pitching, it's possible Bowa could sit some of his lefthanded hitters. Kevin Jordan could be a candidate to start at second over Marlon Anderson.

John Smoltz threw an abbreviated bullpen session Friday in preparation for Monday night's start against the Expos, but he is frustrated that each session is about half as long as he would like.

Smoltz would normally throw 50-60 pitches during a side session. He makes only 20-30 pitches now, hardly enough to work on the consistency of his breaking stuff, to limit the stress on his elbow. But he says he corrected a couple of minor mechanical flaws Friday, which is about all he can expect at this point.
