I will check out any news source as long as there is no liberal bias spin..........What channel do you recommend?

While I realize this question is probably a set-up for one of your rants and plenty of :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: , I guess i'll answer.

My favorites are MSNBC at night and I watch FOX(or at least have it on on my desk at work) most of the day, every day. I don't like CNN much at all and rarely watch it.

MSNBC? are you serious? That isn't liberal biased? How do you figure? I could start a thread a mile long showing MSNBC as liberal slanted. Now I'm tempted lol.

I've never watched much MSNBC, but one of my more conservative friends says that he thinks it is the most biased.

Is that the station with the show that is hosted by the bow-tie guy (i guess representing right wing) and the lesbian (i guess representing left wing)? I can't even watch that show long enough to criticize it.

Ferd you make a great post. You are correct in the fact that Clinton had a lot of failures during his Presidency. I did attack him for them. I don't understand what Clintons failures have to do with Bush's failures. Are you saing that what happened at Waco was ok with you because Bush was a bit slow in New Orleans? I don't think you are saying that. But I agree both guys screwed up big time. We know how you feel about the democrat, now are you will ing to say the Republican screwed up too?

What he is saying is liberals are hypocrites. They critisize Bush 24/7 without offering any alternative plans or ideas but fail to look at their own political shortfalls.

Yes, the bow-tie guy is Tucker Carlson and I don't know what the lesbians name is. It's Tuckers show and he's right wing. Joe Scarborough is more right wing than Tucker and is also on every night. I like both of them.

I would be interested to hear why he thinks MSNBC is the 'most biased' national new station. Maybe he could post something here? (huge longshot)

The Republican screwed up big time in many, many areas. I just don't consider the Louisiana debacle one of them. I still hold to the belief that the real blame lies with possibly the most corrupt and inept state in the union, Louisiana and their elected officials. Could the feds have done a better job - sure. Would I vote for Clinton over Bush today - absolutely, though it would be painful. So we can probably agree on that one and that makes me happy. I think that one reason people feel the need to defend Bush is not that he is very competent, but because he is blamed for anything and everything. I would be one of the first to say that the mess of Iraq stinks to high heaven. I supported it in the initial stages but I do not feel that we have a rudder there and that Bush is not being honest in telling us what will be necessary or what it will require to get out of there. He is clearly to blame for that. But I think it is crazy to blame him for everything else that has gone wrong in this world. We should be focusing more on his errors in Iraq; his subserviance to the Religious Right; his choice of appointments; his apparent disregard of the illegal immigration policies; etc. There are multiple reasons to question his judgment. I would like to stick to those areas rather than blaming him for global warming, the demise of the snail darter and fairy shrimp, and on and on. I think many long time Republicans feel they have to defend W simply because he is attacked for many things that are not legitimate. And then when we feel forced to support him, we suffer a great deal of angst for having to do so. It's a mess.

Kosar I agree about Joe Scarborough. He seem fair and really balanced. Considering he was a Reb congressman. He at least has been there and can talk from experience. That Hannity guy from Fox is a Joe want-a-be. He so in love with himself. I some time wonder if he isn't a little ac/dc. There is a show I just can't watch. Now good boy Shep on fox, I like a lot.

Hannity is a f*cking joke, I agree, and Hannity/Colmes is unwatchable. Shep Smith on Fox is great. Watch him every day at 3 and his coverage of New Orleans was fantastic.

Hannity is unwatchable because you don't agree with him....plain and simple. He always teaches liberals giant lessons, no wonder you can't stand to watch him. Not everyone in this country is a liberal Kosar....why do you think Hannity is the 2nd highest rated news program on cable TV behind O'Reilly? And you say you watch MSNBC? wow

Yeah, that's hilarious, Rex.

Joe Scarborough (a very right-wing man, former US congressman and is who the repubicans wanted to go against Bill Nelson, as opposed to Katherine Harris) is very good on MSNBC. I appreciate his views. He decided to stick with MSNBC.

Sometimes I don't agree with him 100%, but he makes sense.

Sean Hannity is a f*cking idiot.
