65:
A careful reading of your post reveals quite a bit about you and the "classless" comment. I am very aware that McConnell "... doesn't forget where he came from...". I am also very aware that McConnell doesn't forget what got him into the Senate in the first place. Big tobacco and big money from his corporate friends.
You are right sixfive, McConnell will take care of those who put him there which also says quite a bit about the voters of the wonderful commonwealth of Kentucky. His 1st amendment justification allowing special interest groups to continue to purchase elections in this country is laughable.
Voting for McConnell because he is "...powerful..." once again reflects the intellectual acumen of the average Kentucky voter. Using that as a guideling, I guess you would have voted for Adolph Hitler if you lived in Germany in the 30's? Maybe thats classy to vote for the powerful.
Though processes like that, and apparently yours, are very scary, sixfive. The balance of your comments are baseless. If you like being a uneducated sheep and following the powerful because he knows where he came from and how he got there, despite the corruption, thats your problem. Then again, as long as there are people who think on your base level and are able to vote, I guess its all of our problem.
