WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush on Monday approved the execution of an Army private, the first time in over a half-century that a president has affirmed a death sentence for a member of the U.S. military. With his signature from the Oval Office, Bush said yes to the military's request to execute Ronald A. Gray, the White House confirmed. Gray had had been convicted in connection with a spree of four murders and eight rapes in the Fayetteville, N.C., area over eight months in the late 1980s while stationed at Fort Bragg .

Looks like the Texecutioner's ways die hard.

George Bush ordered the killing of the first woman in Texas since the 1860's
After ignoring calls from religious leaders such as Pat Robertson,
Bush went ahead with the execution on schedule.
In the summer of '99 after announcing his bid for the presidency, Bush openly
mocks Karla's pleas for clemency in an interview he does with Talk magazine.
" `Please,' Bush whimpers, his lips pursed in mock desperation, `don't kill me,' "
The President Mocking The Woman He Put To Death ! ! !
Bush makes fun of Karla Faye Tucker in an interview with CNN's conservative pundit Tucker Carlson for Talk magazine.
" I think it is nothing short of unbelievable that the governor of a major state
running for president thought it was acceptable to mock a woman he decided
to put to death," - Republican Candidate Gary Bauer said of Bush's lewd comments.

Yep 4 murders and eight rapes--
--bring on the criminal rights activists.

Facts of this case

Army Private Ronald A. Gray engaged in a spree of four murders and eight rapes in the Fayetteville, North Carolina, area between April 1986 and January 1987.

? Gray pleaded guilty to two murders and five rapes (in addition to other offenses) in North Carolina State court; he was sentenced to three consecutive, and five concurrent, life terms.

? Gray was then tried by general court-martial at Fort Bragg (82d Airborne Division) for separate offenses involving three women, two of whom served in the U.S. Army, one of whom was a civilian. ...

? In April 1988, the court-martial convicted Gray of premeditated murder (two specifications) and unanimously sentenced him to death. Since then, his sentence has been approved by his command, the Army Court of Military Review, and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. The Supreme Court has denied certiorari.

? In accordance with the UCMJ, the Secretary of the Army recommended the President approve the sentence.

? Although not required by statute, the President asked the Attorney General to confirm that the President had full legal authority to approve, commute, or remit the death sentence

One of the best Presidents we will ever have. Crime needs to be taken serious regardless if it is one of our military. I hope the rapist killer burns in hell.

WTF is even your point?

Bush is bloodthirsty because he upholds a sentence of death to a person like this?

No, I think your point is to impugn the military and to 'show' that there are bad seeds in there.

No shit. There are bad seeds everywhere.

Fry in hell, Gray.

He is not trying to impugn the military to show there are bad seeds there. He is simply doing his job, which is spreading anti-american propaganda on american-owned forums. He and his bretheren have the common goal of destroying western civilization.

I find it sad that this type of scum is allowed to post on these forums, when anyone with half of a brain knows exactly which side he is on. I've said it before, Sponge and Stevie (among others here) hate republicans, while Spy hates us all.
