Sometimes even if it isn't your fault, you gotta be a leader and take responsibility. The liberals will spin it for sure, failing to consider that "taking responsibility" and "being responsible" are two different things....(that's already been done here)
The Official New Orleans evacuation plan called for transit and school buses to be used to evacuate the poor. Mayor Nagin had 2,000 buses and failed to use them. He's been asked on every talkshow why he didn't use the buses like he was supposed to and he still won't give a straight answer.
If the official plan would have been executed correctly by the mayor, none of this shit would have happened.
BTW - Amtrak offered 800 free seats the day before Katrina hit land and the city said no thank you!!
