How pathetic and obvious could this distraction be? OK, tell us now about a foiled attempt that we basically already knew about from 4 years ago.

What a sad attempt to get us away from his disgusting budget proposal and controversial spying proposal.

What will they do next, bring up the danger of the Cuban missile crisis? If they want to revisit old glory, maybe they should remind us again of the uranium from Niger that was helping Saddam stockpile WMD's. Maybe he can convince us all over again to invade Iraq.

Anyone that believes this alleged foiled plot is anyway related to King George's illegal spying is a complete idiot.

Well - it's working. Top story everywhere is this "foiled attack". Pretty genius. I'm beginning to understand how Karl Rove is so succesful. He simply never overestimates our intelligence. If it sounds too stupid to work, it probably will work with flying colors. I guarantee millions of Americans will only catch soundbites and believe that Bush just saved LA from attack.

Bush supporters - tell me why he would even bring this up. Any logical reason at all will do.

Matt you know I've never posted anywhere under diff name--going back to the B-W days--wow thats been a while--ole brian's shit finally caught up with him.:)

Why did they bring it up now--good question--I'd waited for fall before Nov elections--and let a few more liberals fall in the trap--maybe they thought time was now after Hilliary just stepped in it after straddling the fence the whole time prior;)

Wonder if any in LA are re-thinking issue of data mining.
I think right before Nov elections they should say everyone with senators against survailence will automatically have any city in their district removed from data-mining process.Let the ACLU protect them--think there wouldn't be some back peddling :)

Oh I'm sure they've got some better things in the works for November. This will work fine for now - they need to make sure all that spying shlt gets through and don't want anyone looking too closely at the budget.

I know man, I was just joking around. Yeah, Brian's gone now for a couple years, but way too little too late. I went there about 3 or 4 months ago and they had like 6 posts total in 3 days. The funny thing is that their counter had something like 3000 people 'viewing.'

I commented on another forum that they must be on a 4 year delay.

chad..my mother`s survived 3 cancers....my mom`s situation shows that it can be beaten...9 years and counting...thankfully..

..i think you get my drift...god bless your sister...i`ll say a prayer for her(i hope i`m not offending the secularists with my stupid little ritual...it`s harmless...and well intended)......all the best to her......sincerely...

smurphy..my feelings for the "times" is no secret ..they`re a postule on the buttocks of american society...as less and less people buy this leftwing crapfest out of habit, hopefully,it will be buried under the sediment of history. ....if they go under,it`ll be a good thing,imo....

c`mon...be fair...compared to some of the rhetoric aimed at bush....by YOURSELF,and others,my glee at any ill that befalls the n.y.t`s is insignificant at best...

""Bush couldn't foil a day old slize of pizza. "".."liar"..."murderer"....and these are the nicer ones...

i only wish failure on the times...

i consider them brie sucking, dangerously anti-american globalists......priveleged....poisonously anti-semitic/anti-christian/anti-military,cowards, hypocrites and snobs.........

incapable of logic...or objectivity...

and i`m being kind...

not to mention ..they`re basically wussies...imo...

smurph...don`t you get the feeling that the wussies at the times...when they were kids... were the ones who really only felt at home in the safety and structure of the classroom and were way out of their element and their league on the playground .... they are genetically uncomfortable and unfit for the free and open market.....

they want rules to protect the weak from bullies .....they thrive in an autocratic environment like the classroom, where their verbal skills are rewarded, and they yearn to reproduce that environment in the real world...thus their desire for socialist/communist government structures.....

the self-reliance and self-determination of the american way is repulsive and scary to them.....

they want the teacher to blow the whistle and stop those big bad baddies like bush...his overt and unapologetic masculinity......

they`re very brave when hiding behind the american way...and cowards,as they`ve shown in their stance on this cartoon scandal...when somebody pushes back..

i admit, though, that i have often considered subscribing to the times....just so i could cancel it....

;) (i do love those emoticons)..

I think i'm going to start picking up the Times every now and then to see what the devil looks like. I've read an article here and there waiting for food and the like, but i'm gonna make it a point to see wtf weasel is endlessly carrying on about.

I remember posting an article about something from NYT columnist David Brooks. Of course Wayne immediately sneers and dismisses it until he did some research and found that Brooks is a solid conservative. That made the article legit.

It's weird how instead of debating the merits of a writers opinion, or refuting any of it, certain people reject it out of hand. It's a lot easier that way.

This post has little or nothing to do with the topic and little or nothing to do with anything. It just popped into my head. Good day.
