According to a new Quinnipiac poll, 54 percent of those surveyed say Bush is responsible for the "current condition" of the economy, compared to just 27 percent who blame Obama. Among self-described independent voters, a key 2012 voting bloc, the number shifts slightly: 49 percent point the finger at the former GOP president, while 24 percent blame Obama.

You're catching on, Skul. :0074

Let's face it, Sponge, the Dems have been doing a pretty good job of protecting Wall Street hedge fund managers and bankers too. They're all enablers of casino capitalism.

No-Name 'Republican Candidate' Extends Lead Over Obama..

That's pretty funny, doggie. No-name Republican. The problem is, Mr. No-name :)142smilie) isn't going to be the Republican nominee, and Obama beats every republican who has a name.

General Election: Romney vs. Obama Quinnipiac Obama 47, Romney 41 Obama +6

General Election: Perry vs. Obama Quinnipiac Obama 50, Perry 37 Obama +13

General Election: Bachmann vs. Obama Quinnipiac Obama 50, Bachmann 38 Obama +12

General Election: Palin vs. Obama Quinnipiac Obama 53, Palin 34 Obama +19

General Election: Pawlenty vs. Obama McClatchy/Marist Obama 47, Pawlenty 33 Obama +14

Nobody has wasted the time to poll Obama against Gingrich, Cain or Huntsman. :mj07:

You know Muffins--this is probably the only thought provoking thread you've had. You have pointed us toward the mother of all questions In fact has moved me to have a little contest in the honor of your delusion. If you happen to win I will throw in a Crown Air freshener for Annes/your Volvo also.

Of course, Duff, if you look back to the last election, Mr. Obama wasn't even favored over Hillary - much less over McCain.....

Give Bachmann some time.....while she may be too far right, she also has a solid chance to peel away a lot of the women voters that normally vote Democractic. That would make it really hard for Obama to get re-elected.

Let's hope America's women get behind Bachmann, wanting to see the first woman president, just like the blacks got behind Obama - and see 98% of the women vote blindly for Bachmann, just as the blacks did for Obama.

Bachmann wins!

That's a desperate attempt to get republican president. Many women I know think she is a **** any republican would be better than her. She is one crazy bitch!!

Curious - being that you are a MN res, and probably know a fair amount about her - why do you think she is so crazy? Not saying she's not, but, just wondering what your perspective is, that's all....

............................................................

I just read yesterday that the clinic she and her husband own teach gay ppl to become straight through counseling, which of course they charge for.

And the 23 foster children she claims to have mothered and watch graduate are actually kids that only stayed a few weeks, months.

face it. She is one looney tunes duck.

It would serve the GOP right to nominate that crazy woman.

wow

Well, I'll admit, I don't know that much about her yet... but she seems to say the right things, mostly, anyway.

I guess I'll wait to see how she fares before I worry about it.

They also make a lot of money collecting gov't insurance. The irony of it. They even say it with a straight face :mj07: :mj07:

Where it is real F ing COLD
Mags--
I am a WI resident and I guess we just have different beliefs, I don't believe she says the right things at all.

On my iPhone so I will keep this brief.

She is ultra religious and there is nothing wrong in believing but she doesn't believe in evolution, not saying we came from monkeys but it is a fact that animals have evolved. She would love to get rid of Darwin out of text books.

She also was talking about our forfeathers who founded this country fought hard against slavery, just can't make this shit up.

She thinks gays are sexually dysfunctional and need counseling to overcome it.

She does not believe on global warming and that is fine but can't she still be pro environment? I never understood that about many repubs, just because you don't believe in warming, means you don't vote for pro environment bills?
She has more but break is over

Mags-try googling Michelle Bachmann is a lying douchebag and see how many articles pop up. This woman makes up ridiculous stuff on the run,it seems she can't speak without telling numerous falsehoods.she is more likely to be the next anti-christ than our next president............

Sorry - for some reason I thought you were a MN person - I guess cuz I think you are a Vikings fan?

I realize that she has had some verbal slipups (probably many), but even Obama has had a number of them too (remember the 57 states comment?)... so, it is possible to overcome them.

Not saying she's gonna win the nomination, but I would like to see a woman candidate, and it can't be Palin. Or, anyone that can beat Obama. I really think the country, and our way of life, are screwed if he gets 4 more years. If that happens, we will wish we were Greece - as we will be much worse off....

But Obama is very hard to beat. Anytime a guy will tell lies (mom's healthcare), recommend doing unconstitutional things (his wars and of course Obamacare), and willfully ignore laws that he, in his opinion, are unconstitutional (DOMA, immigration)...

Well, a Republican will have to slink to his level - lie, cheat, do whatever. But with politicians being politicans, I'm sure the Republicans can do it just as well as the Dems.. :00hour
