Damn...diplomacy???? I want him to deal with them in a "sensitive" way. That will surely be the answer. As a matter of fact, why don't we offer to have a ''sensitive" discussion about our difference of opinion with Bin Laden? Maybe we could include Arafat, too. Imagine this - we can bring Kim-Jung Il and everyone else who is interested to a nicely appointed room, complete with mood lighting, fireplace, and nice, fluffy pillows. We could give Marthat Stewart some "good time" and have her make cute little hors'd'ouvres and maybe make some lemonade. Tony Blair could bring tea and crumpets, maybe some scones if that wouldn't be perceived as too radical. Then all the leaders can simply exchange their ideas and come up with some sort of a"sensitive"compromise. I think that would work. Imagine leaders from everywhere getting together and solving the problems of the world with no thought whatsoever to their own problems. I can see Bin Laden and Il exchanging ideas on how best to run a government, etc. Why didn't Bush think of that? I guess he really is a blithering idiot after all (well, I sort of thought he was even before this).

Israel Threatens Iran Over Nuclear Program

Wednesday, September 29, 2004

JERUSALEM ? Israel will consider "all options" to prevent Iran from producing nuclear weapons, Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz said in an interview published Wednesday, marking the latest in a series of Israeli threats against Iran's nuclear program.

Concern about Iranian nuclear development intensified last week when Iranian Vice President Reza Aghazadeh (search) said the country had started converting raw uranium into the gas needed for enrichment, an important step in making a nuclear bomb.

The declaration came in defiance of a resolution passed by the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency (search), the U.N. nuclear watchdog, demanding Iran freeze all uranium enrichment ? including conversion

Israel considers Iran its most dangerous enemy and worries that Iran's nuclear weapons program is intended as a threat against it. Iran denies it is developing nuclear weapons, saying its nuclear development program is aimed at generating electricity.

Mofaz told the Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot that Israel had to be prepared to deal with what he called the Iranian "threat."

"All options have to be taken into account to prevent it," he was quoted as saying.

Mofaz said there was a chance a moderate regime would emerge in Tehran to stop the development of nuclear weapons, but if not, measures had to be taken to prevent their deployment.

"The question is what comes first, nuclear ability or regime change," Yediot quoted him as saying.

Earlier this month, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said Israel is "taking measures to defend itself" ? a comment that raised concern Israel is considering a pre-emptive strike against Iranian nuclear installations along the lines of its 1981 bombing of an unfinished Iraqi nuclear reactor at Osirak near Baghdad.

Speculation has also been fueled by recent Israeli weapons acquisitions, including bunker-buster bombs and long-range fighter-bombers.

I loved that avatar - but someone else innocently took it. Nothing wrong with that, it is a compliment. Hmmm - doesn't seem like anybody wants to take my current one! Poor Rick, the original Super Freak, with us no longer. I suppose that will also lead to the end of another one of my favorites, Charlie Murphy. I was at the Angel game last week and a couple of guys walked by and yelled for Tom Murphy. I turned around and growled out "Charlie Murphy" to them about 3 times. Half of the people in my section burst out laughing and the others were dumbfounded. I guess there are not that many Dave Chappelle fans out there. And now that he is gone, "I'm Rick James, bitch!"

Hmmm...Not sure if you've notived yet Manson, but this is an internet forum. Kinda hard to do anything other than talk I would have thought?
Don't see you running off to the local army recruitment office to join up and fight for what you so vehemently argue that you believe in.

I know most of the reasonable guys here have stopped responding to your moronic posts.
Don't take it as a compliment. Don't for one minute assume that they are 'too stupid' to answer you.
They simply can't be bothered with your ignorant ranting.
