Scott, does SC have the AP National Championship Trophy at SC? Or is it just an honor that is acknowledged? Im talking 2003 National Champion Trophy.

No one is disputing the AP isn't the BCS. Actually, everyone is aggreeing with you. The BCS is the only one that matters agreed upon by all the colleges to determine a true National Champ by pairing #1 vs #2...Which USC wasn't a part of........If it was flipped around and LSU was the odd team out and #1 in the AP, blah blah blah.....you would be sitting here telling us that the BCS is all that matters, so shut the hell up! and we'd be silly(your :s8: word) to think you wouldn't.......

The AP Poll was created in 1936, and that was when college football began to name OFFICIAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
Since the AP Poll was created, ND has more national titles than any other program at 8, while
ALABAMA HAS SEVEN 7 SIETE WHATEVER LANGUAGE YOU SPEAK OR RECOGNIZE
Now, if you wanna go back all the way BEFORE the AP poll, back to 1869, maybe Alabama has 12, I have no idea, and I dont care because NOBODY RECOGNIZES THOSE TITLES IN COMPARISON TO TITLES AFTER 1936.
This is the easiest way to prove this. Using your system, Yale and Princeton would have the most national titles in history at 18 and 17 respectively. Does anyone recognize those programs as having that many titles compared to today's teams? Nope, so Bama's "12" are not vaild
