I don't understand the company Bush visited today researching alternate fuels. Lay-ed off workers a few weeks back due to funds cut by us. The government. Bush goes to visit and workers get called back last Friday and funds some how are back. How nice. What that cost us other then the 3 million it cost us every time Bush takes one of his little visits.

It's a little like the commercial I just saw describing how Phillip-Morris spent several million $ on publicity to brag about donating $125,000 to a charity.

Good press is expensive. Makes more sense for Bush to waste our money on that visit to appear to us that he actually cares about alternate energy than it does to actually invest that money in alternate energy.

As Agassi once said, image is everything.

ctownguy, i will guarantee you if Bill Clinton could run for president tomorrow against george w. it would be by far the biggest landslide victory ever in American history. Yeah george would get a few votes from the far right, but he wouldn't even be able to carry Texas.

Ah, the Clinton connection. I see it now. Madjack's Politics and Religion Boards are so educational. And like the roads of Roman antiquity, every thread leads to the same point.

lol...yeah ctownguy, my comment was way off base. Sorry. You're right. What Clinton did was absolutely indefensible. We should always mention his misdeed(s) in every thread, of course.

He embarrassed us all, dems and rebpubs, everywhere around the world. I was particularly upset at him for what he did. And for that, I spit on him. A thousand pox on his household. May he forever dwell in darkness and shadows. And his family should, too. May his child have misfortune and misery all the rest of her life. And may his child's children live in infamy and disgrace for as long as they shall live. There is no forgiveness for Clinton's horrible transgressions. And the angel of mercy shall snicker when the subject is brought up.

Can we stone him in the town square? Or maybe a beheading would be more appropriate?

You are on a roll. You could write some good goth songs ...or maybe get together with bjfinste and put together some kind of novel or collection of short stories. He's a fine writer in his own right.

I'm not sure. ....Just make sure it's got rhythm and melody. Goth never seems to dissappear completely, so I think you'll have some kind of audience no matter what.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

odd he never beat anyone by a landslide--and if I'm not mistaken I seen same thing here when he ran against Gore and Kerry--and I believe Gore "failed" to carry his home state.

Now the Reason Clinton is always brought up basically he was last liberal pres.
However that is not my reason for bring him up--it solely to show the logic liberal use in ranting about others being corrupt-immoral ect.When infact Clinton was hands down the biggest con ever elected--Couldn't make ends meet in real world--started with land sceme con where all associates were imprisoned--and finished pardoning the 7th most wanted (another con) for cash--with gate after gate in between.--and he does the ole finger wave to his followers they would still walk over broken glass to see where he pissed in the snow.

The bottom line is don't expect to call any official--corrupt-immoral ect and in same breath support Clinton--without being called on for liberal logic.

Just b/c Clinton is more popular then Bush does make him more or less of a scumbag/corrupt ...not to say Bush isn't highly swayed by a select few. But it doesn't justify Clinton being less corrupt (then Bush) if he were to win by a "landslide" in an election. Running for President isn't a moral or ethical litmus test. If it was I doub't Clinton would even be mentioned for a primary. Bush isn't clean or spotless by any means with regards to morals, but he is a class above Clinton
