the early line jump of fsu from -1 to -3- is not supported by any handicapping metric, but i did see this on the fsu team page:

G #10 Justin Pippen (14.8 ppg and 3.4 rpg; Has reached double figures in 16 of 18 appearances)
Note: Cal's starting five has 18 combined starts together on the season, with Camden, Dort, and Ames all starting all 20 games on the season. Ames is currently considered day-to-day.

id dai dai ames is not a full speed, that could be a big blow to the bears, and would explain the early line move. cal has a crappy record on the east coast anyway, and if ames is hobbled im looking to take a flyer on the 'noles. has anyone heard anything about this?

Dai Dai sems good to go all I see confirmed missing tonight is senior center Lee Dort (out, per Cal beat reporter updates on X), which is a notable blow to their frontcourt size and interior defense especially on the road. GL Loop
