Yea, all they have is the BEST running back in the nation.
Not to mention the guy he splits carries with is also pretty damn good.
Throw that together with a QB who can manage the game, and a very solid defense, and I think they are very deserving of a top 10 spot.
But I guess by your logic, Ohio State shouldn't even be ranked since they were taken down to the wire, at home, vrs Navy

Their QB's name is Riley and he will have to do a hell of lot more than just "manage the game" if they want to compete with USC.
BTW - Navy would beat Minnesota... Get a clue.
He's completing over 65% of his passes, with 5 TD and no turnovers. Doing pretty good thus far if you ask me.
They will easily give USC all they can handle, and have a great chance to win the Pac 10.
They won the game on the road by 14 points, what more could you possibly want? If Cal cleans up on some stupid penalties, that game is an absolute blowout.

Wow, fact is, even with the mistakes, Cal won easily. Even when the score was tied, Cal still looked very much in control.
