I wrote you a long reply when you asked on opening night who people liked in the Laker game, but when I went to send it, it got deleted.
Since I can't type ...
Anyway, I'm seeing less of Stern's hand so far.
But, I am seeing a whole lot more BAD refereeing.
With people more attuned to the refs after Donaghy's book, maybe Stern's orders are just for the refs to suck. This would give him a possible out with regards to past fixes - "The refs weren't crooked, they were just bad". :shrug:
As for more pertinent matters (straight cash homie), I would grab UTAH today. I don't see 4.5 being available tom.

I think refs are gonna rig Utah game tomorrow big time with another force fed FTA festival to hit OVER... AMAZING how it went over by 1... (boy that was such an easy ov pk 2nd half; never in doubt)
And then once over 217, NOT ANOTHER pt scored or whistle blown... Hah.
I love ATL tomorrow (refs will help them after the fuck job of 14 to 0 FTA's for Mil they received to extend the series... I think the public gets on MIL and again screwed... (IMO). Utah will get HAMMERED tomorrow also... 4.5 pts seems MIGHTY fishy to me. Especially with both games at Utah we all know those were more like 20-30 pt wins that were heavily helped by refs to help Denver "not look as bad they are when losing"...
I am NOT SAYING in any way that UTAH will NOT WIN the game, but I think this time, its not gonna be a cakewalk, (and I actually am more worried about this game for my Jazz than Game 5 by far).
I definitely agree about the comment on THE BOOK. We all know that its been read by the whole league (maybe maybe not by the players). And Stern would love to make it seem different this year, but obviously REFS arent GOOD ACTORS... NEVER HAVE BEEN.
I see alot of people yelling and screaming about the obvious fixes; (at least most of the peeps on the board here are agreeing that it is done; and frequently.) A few years ago people thought I was insane for saying shit like that and that I was "crying" cuz I lost. Well, I now "Cry with happiness" because of the fixes... Ive learned for the most part to forsee when, where, how, and by how much and even more importantly a WHY IT IS DONE (MONEY, and to sell tickets, which we all knew already). And people just think probably here, that IM JUST INSANE, BUT NOT WRONG about FIXING... The book just verified THAT I WAS RIGHT... (God, I love that).
While we are talking a little about the book, is it true or RUMOR that there was last yr's printing and that's it. No more printings, interviews for HBO, etc etc. I am very happy I got a copy for Christmas from my wife (I told her it would increase our party/vacation fund once I read and "studied" the info. (Yes, my NERD ASS is actually making notes and tables to build or "tweak" system(s) Ive already made.
Well, gotta go cap, shit I just wrote alot.
