Can any of you Canadians answer my question?

Dude, I have an enhanced NY State license and was there Labor Day weekend. Are you suggesting the Canadian Border Control doesn't know the law? LOL. A NY State enhanced driver's license is an approved document for entry into Canada. No passport needed. You are posting as if you knew and you don't.
We probably aren't going now- My Birthday is Oct 18th and we were going to go the weekend of my birthday. It takes 4-6 weeks to get a passport, 2-4 expedited, and for an extra $65 I think it is you can get it in 1-2 weeks. To get a passport you need all sorts of documentation of course- one being a birth certificate with both your parents names on it. Well I pulled his out today and neither parent is listed on his so now I would have to get a Birth cert for him before he could even apply for a passport and that takes at least 10 days. So there is no way we will have any of it before we go. So now I think I need to come up with somewhere else to go for my Bday. We said about hitting the casinos up there but if they are garbage I'm not going to waste my money. I was thinking maybe Watkins Glen or The PA Grand Canyon. But to do stuff outside the weather has to be decent. So we kind of have to wait now and see closer to the date as to what we are going to do. :shrug:
I missed the part where you said "enhanced", my bad. That is same as EZ pass.
For the record I have crossed back and forth from NY to Ontario about 1 million times in my life, sometimes have crossed 2 different times in 24 hours, I have even walked across the border more then once.
I don't blame you. These fuckers ruin a lot of fun for decent folk around here, with all the bullshit that they post.

Now looking at how you have handled the pressure of the spotlight, I really think it's time to do a pretty blunt assessment of what you actually bring to the forum.

To redeem myself.......if you are FLYING into Canada from USA and you don't have a passport...well ummm I won't even say anything, just try it and see what will happen.
Bottom line......get a fucking passport if you want to leave the country.
