Can anyone tell me the answer to this!

I have asked in like 4 dfferent threads why ACC#2 VT is playing in the Chik-fil-a bowl while ACC #3 GT is playing in the Gator Bowl


It cant have anything to do with who is ranked higher which is VT, or matchups because a rematch of GT/Geo would be great and this is the first year in a long time VT/WV havnt played each other and I know both coaches and fans were sad to see that end last year.I definitely think if you flip them around it would be alot better, but thats beside the point, does anyone know why VT is in chik-fil-a bowl and not gator bowl?

G tech lost ACC Championship game, so they're # 2 and play In Gator Bowl like V Tech did last yr when they were #2 (lost to FSU in ACC Champ)

I am not 100% sure but i think the Peach is higher rated bowl (read Money payout) now. Not sure of that but remember hearing something to that affect a while back.

I thought VT would be #3 and that would explain everything but there was more than one set of bowl projections flying around here that had VT as #2 in the ACC, if anyone can find it I would appreciate it, I have looked 4 pages back and cant find anything
