Actually the pill popping Rush has lost substantial weight. You shouldn't be calling him fat
wow. Yep. There are also some programs out there for the illiterate. Might want to look into them.
Wayne, your "da base" shit is so tired. There are more people with post graduate degrees than high school drop outs who support Obama. There are more people who make more than 100k a year than those that make less than 30k who support Obama....etc, etc, etc....I trust you actually know this, but you keep on with your "gumby" and "da base" shit. It really is absurd.
If the poor can obtain revenue through the federally funded welfare program. Now, if they can also receive free medical care.......
Where is the incentive/motivation to get a job and be a productive part of society?
Seems like this setup only encourages folks to continue to rely on the gov't.
Is that the type of society we really want?
That is true--it was reduced after they voted the dems out in mid term elections in Slicks 1st term. While many credit him with welfare reform he actually vetoed bill twice before rebs shoved it down their throats with "contract with America"
However we got same scenerio as before as Gumby has already increased welfare and foodstamps for da base sliding through as 1/3 of stimulus bill.
Their moto--never let a good crisis go to waste.

Why don't you quit your job and go on welfare since it's such a great opportunity?

Maybe you should do the same?

To get this thread back on track. Wilson, I don't know where you were trying to take this? Obviously welfare is nothing new. More people are most likely on it due to the high unemployment numbers. Some people like to be on it. Some people don't need it and cheat. But all this was availible during the 6 years Bush and the Republicans controlled everything. Just wondering where you were trying to take this?
I wasn't trying to go anywhere with this thread.
People have always abused Gov't programs and now that there will be free health care....where is the incentive to find a job for those that continue to suck off the rest of us.
It just seems that we/our system encourages people to continue to live off Uncle Sam.
I went to a Food Lion at the beginning of this month....There were about 15 checkout lines (big store). As I looked down those 15 checkout lines...I hardly seen any real money being exchanged for this food. It was mostly food stamps. Then I noticed that most of those folks were pretty capable of working....most probably more capable than me.
By God---let's give everyone free health care, too!
Of course you're trying to go somewhere. Read your own words.
You're just another whiner who is absolutely clueless.
Now go get your arse signed up for welfare. Then you can suck me off.
