:nono:

gonna give it a test on day 5 (my 2nd day 5 since i blew it last saturday).

i'm going to the boat and play their poker tourney at noon today. the poker room is non smoking so no problem there.

then, i'm going to hit the bar for my first drinks since march 20. THAT will be the first test and i think i can do it or i wouldn't try.

i'll be taking my gum with me today just in case :)

you guys on day 13? :hail

you other guys? :hail

JUST SAY NO! :nono:

talk yo yuz guys later.

win some money today too :)

what happened to friggin memorial day.
i'm celebrating it early :D

maybe i won't drink. kinda want to though. it depends on how hungry i get too. i'm on a strict 1500 a day calorie diet (lost 9lbs since march 20) and the booze will eat heavy into my allocation so i'll see how i feel. i'm thinking 4 or 5 drinks after the tourney like i usually do. see what happens.

Jack - Be careful dude. This is a critical time in the process, and frankly you shouldn't be testing yourself this soon. :concerned

I know how you feel, Jack. I have a date tonight with a lady that smokes, and we'll be drinking, so that's a double whammy. But I'll feel pretty bad if I lose it on Day 5, so I'm still confident.

I think the drinking spells disaster.

Damn it if Jack smokes today I am going out and buying two packs of Salems and smoking them all !

Kinda like a reverse strike.

A smoke in...

OK Jack its up to you.

I was planning on taking some time off the net for some time now.

Old computer took a dump, then a ton of other stuff of the business/personal variety occurred and extended my absence.

Nothing like depending on members of our legal profession :scared

all's well

The good news.....

I have forced my "system" to handle milk products again :142smilie

I can have a bowl of cereal again without sh*tting myself.

Nice to hear Jack breaking away from smokes!

Hard to believe that tomorrow will be two weeks since I have had a smoke. I wish to hell I had done this years ago.

Good job today Jack, keep it up!

Jack,

Great job on no drinking and smoking. Keep it up.

As far as the poker goes, we know how good you are, so you'll place next time and do it smoke free :toast: :Yep:

7th day for me. I did a lot of yardwork and for the first time since I quit I feel great! The cravings still bug me, but are a lot easier to get past.

Thanks again to all those giving support. It really helps.
