Before the season started Patriots had significant losses:
Samuel cb
Jr. Seau lb
RooseveltColvin lb
Randall Gay cb

stallworth wr

season started, they lost
Brady
Moroney
Morris
Harrison
A Thomas
Lamont Jordan

BB has done a decent job keeping team competitive with limited personnel, but I think Patriots resemble their showing against Miami & San Diego tonight more than the impressive games against Denver & Indy.

Not a huge play, but definitely leaning towards jets tonight, just another game for New England, seems like this game means everything to New York.
Small play jets + 3.5

Good luck Shamrock
I like the Pats. Don't think BB wants to give Mangini anything. They will hand the ball off all night and killl the clock. BB loves to win by 3 so you should be ok.

cavy-small action play on jets. Line opened 4,sat 3.5 until recently fell to 3 even. I think that is mostly just heavy New York money.
Losing Thomas is going to hurt New England, he is one of the few defensive players that plays every down. His replacement Woods, is my neighbor, no where near able to provide what Thomas gives them in pass rush etc.

should be decent game, New York seems like this is there Super Bowl or something:shrug:

almost how Sox fans used to feel about Yankee series.

Good luck brother:toast:

Good Luck Shamrock!

NICE AVATAR!!

"The Warriors Code"

:box2: :box2:

:toast: thanks blitz, he is a unique dude for sure.

Cavy-here is the thing, everyone knows New England secondary is very very weak, especially with Harrison gone, Harrison never could cover, but his experience along with Samuel & gay ability to cover is sorely missed. Hence Patriots having to sign guys like Delta O'Neill off the street, (and he was cut by Denver.) Because of limited bodies Patriots forced to play rookies Wheatley &Whillite in secondary, now Wheatley is out injured, now another rookie Richardson pressed into playing, and Sanders signed off the street.

Patriots already leaning heavy on rookies like Mayo & guyton at the lb position. They could cover for the weak secondary somewhat because there front 3 were so good (Seymour, wilFork & Warren) & outside lbs Thomas & Vrable were able to pressure quarterback. Harrison also would blitz often and pressure. In essence their liabilities in secondary were masked by the front 7,injuries will now expose the secondary. Brett And above average jet wr should expose vulnerable New England secondary.

Just my opinion

and I will be hammering golden State if that line stays at + 4-

well they couldn't stay afloat. To many injuries, great effort, but not enough pressure on qb, New England played with 45 players dressed, 3 were quarterbacks. Not including kicker s

Nice call shamrock.Imagine Cassel throwing for 400 +yds and they still lose.I thought that would guarentee a win.Turns out there interior D killed them.

Your also right that the Jets needed it more in a way.If Pats lose to Miami then there season is toast.Plus Jets play Tenn. next week.

Things should get interesting the final 6weeks of season in this suddenly competitive division.
