My local has OSU +4000 to win it all. I'm seeing these odds as low as +1800 at other books.

The only way I see OSU making the playoff is if Alabama loses. Then it would be:

Oklahoma
MSU/Iowa
Clemson/UNC
OSU

I can't see Stanford jumping any of those teams. Is there anyway OSU makes it in over UNC if the Tarheels can pull off the upset?

As it stands now I see an OSU +4000 and a UNC +2500 future bet as good hedging opportunities. That is, of course, only if Clemson loses.

If Bama loses, Clemson loses and Iowa loses, Ohio St has a slim shot of creeping back in the Top 4, only hope is those 3 aforementioned teams lose and lose big because all but Iowa are favorites this weekend.

It's real simple. If bama loses Ohio st is in. It is possible if Clemson loses, unc could leapfrog, but to say they need three teams to loses is just not true.

Ohio St is probably not losing if they get in - possibly to OU - but no one else

Completely agree. Committee knows they are the best team. I was hoping all year to get bama - Ohio st again for repeat of last years easy money

I thinking I wasted my money already on the +4000... There is no way bama loses to Florida.

Ohio state the best team??? You can't be serious. They would lose to ND, Bama, OK, and probably Clemson. They controlled their own destiny ans couldn't beat Sparty at home with a back up qb. They played like crap the whole season and are right where they belong on the outside looking in.

ND wouldn't beat Ohio st IMO

I root for the irish above almost all others

I watched every game from last season and this season- missed a game here or there prior seasons, but last two I have been fortunate to see them all

Ohio st would beat them.

as far as best team......I honestly think Ohio st should be in discussion- I don't mind that they barely won a few of their games this year........they have lost a total of what? 3 games the past 4 years or something crazy.......a lot of the same personnel on this squad- they were the champs last year and only have 1 loss this year- I think it is crazy that the defending champ doesn't get a chance to defend its title when other 1 loss teams are in.

Bama is overrated in my opinion. Only because they are considered the best of the best- I don't think they are- they are really really good. But some think they cannot be beaten at this point in season.....they are beatable....

Until it becomes a 8 team playoff and we really get a true "tournament", this will be a discussion every year.....but again, a 1 loss defending champ I think should get a chance to defend title regardless of SOS, wins, whatever........

ohio st was a little arrogant and on cruise control- they thought they would walk into the playoff. they were wrong, but considering their only loss is to a elite Michigan state defensive with a good coach on the last play of the game, I think they should get the benefit of doubt and be in.

they will be in I think.

my opinion obviously is worth nothing, but I think UNC will beat Clemson. Iowa will lose to mich st.

bama
ohio st
mich st
Oklahoma

that would be awesome

bama vs ohio st
mich st vs Oklahoma

ohio st vs Oklahoma for title

I agree Alabama is overrated, they have a QB playing his first year as a starter and I haven't been impressed with their DB's against the pass. It seems the DB's play prevent they let offence catch it then tackle I think about every team has had a big passing play on them this year.

Alabama
Okl
Mich st/Iowa
Ohio state

I think Clemson will be upset by UNC. It will be:
Bama vs Ohio St
Oklahoma vs Michigan St
