....WHY the Eastern confernce finals begin on Sunday but the Western conference finals, for which both teams advanced earlier, starts on Monday???
I mean, why do the Suns/Lakers get 7+ days of rest and Boston gets 2?
And wouldn't it make more sense for TV scheduling purposes to have the West coast series be on Sunday where you have some flexibilty with the time slot instead of having it on Monday where everyone on the east coast will have to stay up until midnight to see the end of the game?
Just think it would make more sense for C's/Magic to start at 8 or 8:30 on Monday, giving Boston an extra day of rest, and us west-coasters would be able to get home from work in time for the 1st qtr.
I mean other than Steve Nash's eye, why does Phoenix and LA need all that rest for the next round? Matter of fact why not start it on Saturday??
Does this have anything to do with the NHL schedule? Maybe a conflict with the Bruins home ice assuming they advance??
