Can someone look at the OAK/SEA game and tell me what you think?

I like Hill a lot for Oakland, but no way I can back the A's right now, the way they are playing. On a 4-game slide right now and, other than Hill, just don't have anything going for them. I'm taking Seattle tonight. GL to all.:toast:

Seattle flies back across country after successful road trip. Oakland just took it on chin during homestand and and just want to get away and regroup.

Walker is fine but can be erratic. Oakland can throw 7 lefties against him in the lineup.

Rich Hill has been stellar this year. Much better SIERA than walker

Give me Oakland in this spot all day every day. I'll take my chances.

I'm actually in this camp here. I think there is value to be found in the dog on this one. Hill has better stats in the categories I look at and while Walker gets to throw against the lowly bats of the A's I think Hill K% vs RH batters and low WOBA stand out to me.

I'll take my chance with two separate wagers here

I don't think I lose both of those, if the A's bats don't show up at all and they lose the game I don't think it's a 7-2 type of game.

Walker is 1-2 ATS w/8.79 era vs A's, Hill has been a machine on the rd and is 2-1 w/1.83 era.

Home righthanders as favs vs lefties in AL, just 15-21 at home, 11-25 vs run line and 16-18 overs.

Road team has won 6 in a row in this series....both teams sweeping each other at their respected ball parks this season. Before the Yankees the A's were playing very well! They are probably excited to see a different opposing uniform. A's will not get swept in this series. I'd take them tonight and if they lose chase the series to make at least 1 unit of profit. The odds should be fairly decent with Felix not pitching against them this series.

As far as tonight......I like Rich Hill a lot! Seattle coming home off a road trip good time to catch them a little jet lagged maybe.
