Putting money on a team that hasn't won a game in over a year, with a rookie QB and an interim head coach playing on a Thursday. It sounds like a disaster.

But my gut tells me lots of folks are going to tease this to almost EV and hope to cash an easy winner. Does Vegas let that happen?

Chiefs just won an emotional game against the world champs, then play AZ and DEN the next 2 weeks. Definitely a let down spot. On top of that, the Chiefs have lost to a team that is 0-10 or worse three times. They're the only team to have done that.

I think I just talked myself into the Raiders. I just hate betting on shitty teams on Thursdays..:mj03:

I Agree. I think the Raiders @ home will try to make a statement to try to get off the schnide...They have played a tough schedule and was close to taking out the Pats..They may not win the game but imho 7 is a lot for a Primtime home dog especially a winless team...

Having watched most if the Chiefs games, and won money on many of them, this game has been circled for me as trap city for a long time. But I think I'll be one of the lemmings that teases this down. With the way KC's defense is playing right now, and the way the Chiefs control the ball and rarely turn it over, I think they can overcome a couple of crazy/big plays. My thought for a couple weeks was to be ready to go hard with the Raiders, but the more I watch Reid run this team and how it responds, I worry less about them and now enjoy the way they play. Bowe has shown some signs of life lately, and the rookie Thomas is getting more involved. Kelce could have a nice game, too. Scares me, but I think an outright loss is hard to see. But how many have we seen already this season? Good luck to you/all.

hey, brother...hope all is well....

I have to say that, after looking at alex smith`s career record,i`m becoming a big fan...all the guy does is win...this ream was 2-12 the year prior to smith landing in k.c.....yes,reid has an awful lot to do with their success...but reid brought smith to k.c.....

I`m convinced this guy is the most overlooked, underappreciated qb in football....in a very long time...

Things are going great, GW. Thanks. I agree about Smith. In some ways, he reminds me of a mini- Montana... Just goes about his business, stays out of trouble, accurate, smart, aware, runs when necessary, and always in command (except for a couple games). They have no receivers other than Bowe, and Bowe has dropped many good opportunities this season. But as mentioned, he's come up better of late. This game bothers me a lot, but in Reid, Charles, Smith and especially the defense, I expect them to squeak by tonight.
