BP, great call on Minny this weekend. I was on them with you. You always have a great read on these NFC North matchups.

I just found incredible odds of 7-1 on MIN to win the NFC north...obviously I bet the shit out of it. GB is still listed at -300 at this particular offshore pph shop :mj07:
My only questions now are....

A. Will they void my bet, and assuming they don't...
B. Is it worth hedging on DET at 4-1?
C. Will Bridgewater be starting at any point this season.

Running through the schedules and ruling out the Bears, I have the three NFC North contenders finishing with the following records in a best case/worst case scenario...

DET (3-3): Best 10-6 / Worst 8-8
GB (4-2): Best 8-8 / Worst 6-10
MIN (4-2): Best 11-5 / Worst 10-6

For the first time since going down in August 2016 with a torn ACL, Teddy Bridgewater will be back this week on the practice field.
The Vikings quarterback was cleared Monday by a doctor, and head coach Mike Zimmer said he will practice Wednesday. Although Bridgewater is eligible now to come off the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, Zimmer said he will remain on it while the Vikings observe how he looks in workouts.
After Bridgewater returns to practice, the Vikings will have three weeks to decide whether to restore him to the 53-man roster or place him on injured reserve for the rest of the season.
?He?ll stay on the PUP list until he?s ready to play,? Zimmer said. ?He hasn?t practiced in 14 months, so we?re not going to dose him out Wednesday.?

Bridgewater joins a muddled Vikings quarterback situation. Starter Sam Bradford has missed four of the past five games with a left knee injury, and it?s uncertain when he will play again. Case Keenum has been starting in Bradford?s absence.
Zimmer said Bradford is doing ?pretty good? but wouldn?t speculate on if he will practice this week. Zimmer wouldn?t say if Keenum would start again Sunday against Baltimore at U.S. Bank Stadium.

<iframe name="google_ads_iframe_/8013/twincities.com/sports/vikings_4" width="300" height="250" title="3rd party ad content" id="google_ads_iframe_/8013/twincities.com/sports/vikings_4" frameBorder="0" marginWidth="0" marginHeight="0" scrolling="no" style="border: 0px currentColor; vertical-align: bottom; border-image: none;"></iframe>

?We?ll just have to see how it goes,? Zimmer said.

Following the game against Baltimore, the Vikings play Cleveland in London and then have a bye week. So the earliest Bridgewater might be in uniform for a game would seem to be Nov. 12 at Washington.

I fully expect the Vikes to do. division now. you may as well sprinkle a little on Detroit.. Teddy will be playing they have 3 weeks.. Vikes need to sit Bradford til he is 100 percent. If they get QB play they can go far.. Keenum not the answer

My inclination is that they can still win the NFC North with Keenum at the helm. At the very least, he can guide them to two wins against the slumping Ravens at home and the Browns in London. Then a bye week and Teddy can come back or maybe Bradford's knee is healthy enough after the PRP injections.

I'm going to wait to play the Detroit future for a few days to make sure they don't void my bet. I would hate to be stuck on the Lions at 4-1 (which is the market price as of now) without that Vikes future to back it up.

Minny is not winning the north.
Detroit or g.b. will.
I think without Rodgers it makes the north even, but minny isn't really that good, they won the game yesterday because of a ****** move by barr, legal yes, but you pull up or push Rodgers down there.

You are delusional.. Green Bay had NO chance. The Vikes are taking it.. They have the best defense and O line in division

I guess Minnesota doesn't have to play their remaining games? We can just hand them the title?

Green Bay has a rich history of pulling their fat from the fire. The Vikings have a tradition of bland.

Lions get my vote

No you don't , you do exactly what Barr did....If you want to win in this league you go out and play hard until that whistle blows. He did absolutely nothing wrong shouldn't even been a penalty but because it's Rodgers..... Maybe Arron Rodgers should hit the weight room and put on some muscle so he's not out there like wet soggy French fry... do some fukin neck curles at least shit.... same with Sam fukin Bradford... god i hate that guy looks like a fukin yoga instructor not a football player....It's like dude you go out there lookin like Martin Gramatica what the fuck do you think is going to happen sooner or later.... Rodgers is a hell of a qb but just as soft as Bradford. Packers suck just as bad as Minnesota does now....

Tangent Time....

I find it funny now that Rodgers is out that Ted Thompson is getting hammered by the National Media for not having talent around Rodgers. I've been telling Packer fans on this board for years and every time the conversation turns into how bad the Vikings. WTF does that have to do with Ted Thompson? Fuck I was able to drive Poolplayer so batty he got banned. That's just how a lot of Packer fans are.. "our players are the best." Well one would think after how this season ends Thompson will be shown the door.. I know they won a Super Bowl with him but you can thank #12 for that. Actually the big Buffoon McCarthy can thank Rodgers for a job as well, that guy is a terrible head coach just fucking brutal. But back to Thompson.. He has shown how clueless he and his staff are. They let go of Casey Heyward and now he's a pro bowler for the Bolts. He could have drafted Eric Kendricks but he drafts Rollins.. Could have had TJ Watt but drafts King.. King may develop into a good player but he already has marsh mellow head. it's just a mess over there and Ticket Casher is in denial about how bad this team is without Rodgers.

Now as for Minnesota winning the division.. I can see Detroit winning but the edge goes to the Vikes cause they now have the best offensive line in the division and the best defense. The loss to Detroit a couple weeks ago was a complete Fluke.. Speaking of injuries the packers are crying but the Vikes have had a ton too. What the hell can ya do? Cook is looking like a beast and then he tears his knee. Bradford looked sharp and then his knee swells up. Well soon it will be Teddy Bridgewater, they will give him every opportunity to start, they love that kid .. What will he do? Can he run? Will his leg fall off if hit a certain way? Don't know I know that before the injury he was mobile and improving with accuracy. IT was difficult to evaluate him cause they had absolutely no sustained running game and no pass protection, his offensive line could have been executed for attempted murder cause they tried to get him killed every week. Vikes and fans are just hoping they catch lightninig in a bottle or until Bradford is totally 100%. Keenum is not the answer he had guys running wide open this week and two weeks ago against Detroit but makes the wrong read. If Teddy does turn out to be the real deal they maybe playing late into January..

Teds been the knock with a lot of people over the years. Unless Rodgers wins another SB, theyll have had 30yrs worth of HOF quarterbacks and they'll have ONE ring each. It's not easy winning one, but there are lesser quarterbacks with multiple titles.
