"The 'truth' of the official 9-11 story," explains Griffin, "must be taken on faith. It is not a matter of debate or even discussion. Anyone who brings up anything that contradicts the official story is either ignored or denounced as a conspiracy nut.

"However," he continues, "when the official account of 9-11 is stripped of its halo and treated simply as a theory rather than an unquestionable dogma, it cannot be defended as the best theory to account for the relevant facts. When challenges to it are not treated as blasphemy, it can easily be seen to not correspond with reality."

I like a good conspiracy theory as much as the next person but tell this lady there was no fire at the Pentagon on 9/11/2001!

Survivor

"But Louise Kurtz, 49, of Stafford County will never move on with her "normal" life. Terrorists violently ripped that from her on Sept. 11 because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Because she showed up for work on time. Because she was an American.

Mrs. Kurtz was on her second day on the job at the Pentagon as a civilian accountant when the plane hijacked from Dulles slammed into the building. She suffered severe burns over 70 percent of her body, lost all of her fingers and parts of both ears.

The last Pentagon victim to be released from the hospital, three months after the attacks, Mrs. Kurtz endured more than 35 surgical procedures. Since then she has been learning how to be self-sufficient without fingers--attempting to complete tasks once done without thinking, but that now require Herculean mental and physical toughness, courage, and endurance."

Or these men!

Burn victims trying to adjust to changes
lo11yates.jpg

JOHN YATES can wash dishes again, but he can't grip his golf clubs.

He's back working full time at the Pentagon, but some days he gets to the building and immediately wants to turn around and go home.

So Yates, severely burned at the Pentagon a year ago today, says it's not so much that life is returning to normal as that he and his wife are getting used to a new definition of normal.

The 51-year-old Yates was one of three Fredericksburg-area residents severely burned in last year's attacks.

He'll be glad once today is over. It's been a year since he suffered second- and third-de-gree burns over 35 percent of his body, and the anniversary means closing one chapter of life and opening another.

"Another burn victim, retired Navy Lt. Kevin Shaeffer, said he will try to be positive today and look to the future while also remembering the past. "I'm trying to overcome my fears and persevere," he said.

Shaeffer, a 30-year-old Stafford resident, was burned over 41 percent of his body a year ago. He suffered second- and third-degree burns on his back, third-degree burns on his arms and hands and second- and third-degree burns on his face.

Shaeffer also suffered respiratory injuries. He was the only person who made it out of the Navy Command Center alive.

He said he is stronger than he expected at this point, but he still feels pain in his joints and must undergo monthly rehabilitation at Washington Hospital Center's burn unit.

Shaeffer retired from active duty after being burned."

I don't understand the notion that if you automatically are a skeptic on this issue that automatically qualifies you for disrespecting the victims? Thats rubbish.

Even some of the victimes families are skeptics on what really happen that day and why our country would fail to protect our citizens.

I could not agree more..........its funny how a person cant look at anything with "open eyes and a curious mind that has questions to ask" without being labeled crazy or a conspiracy nut............

I tell you what I never really thought much about until that article stated how the Bush administration had all the answers so fast after 911 but didnt know anything after the hurricane disaster for weeks.........

That's the thing. If you don't believe the government stance, you believe Martians were involved.

If you question the "official" version of what happened, you're shitting on the families of the victims.

Wouldn't it be a travesty, if there was more than meets the eye to this, and these families have been had all these years?

Look it up and quit being whining Fuchs like Kosar and the gang.

Im a life long voter for Patrick J Buchanon from day one so blow me on the politcal snide.

This crap is bigger and were just slow enough to not see it.

A camera here, a scan of a chip there, you do the math with the latest high speed servers a country like ours could afford.

Its everyones right to be ignorant but this shit is phasing in just slow enough so everybody feels safe from terrorism.

Think outside the ****ing box and look at who gains from this.

... Wolfy is in charge of the world bank now.

That was his pay off for state dept. psyop 911 whether you like it or not.

I urge everyone here to look at the simple Physics and calcs on those buildings freefalling into dust.

Its so Ficking blatent its scary you whine whores cant see it.

beertime,

Don't you think that being the "strongarm" of the international bankers isn't such a bad position to be in? Also do you think our "system" would really work if it weren't carefully controlled and manipulated? Certainly you can see that they've used the manipulation of interest rates and the PRICE of oil to keep all world markets in a pretty decent range. Think back to the market boom of the 90's....I can recall seeing PETE PETERSON himself on tv stating how we were headed for economic disaster. Many "boomers" had HUGE 401k accounts, preparing for early retirement.
9-11 wiped out TRILLIONS of dollars in value from accounts all over the world...bringing all world markets back down to a "more workable level". The subsequent runup in the PRICE of oil with the termoil in Iraq has helped keep economies from running up too fast.
I asked one of the guys at work the question the other day......Do you think the Chinese would "sacrafice" 3000 of their citizens for the sake of their "system"? He replied...SURE! I then asked how about the Russians...He said ..YES I believe they would! How about the Saudi's or Iranians I asked. He said WITHOUT A DOUBT! Then I asked ....how about the USA? He responded ...NO WAY! After mulling it over I came to the conclusion that we NEED that type of mentality from most of the population to maintain the "system".
beertime...I know you're fed up with the way you perceive the "system" to be. BUT...breaking the "stranglehold" of the moneymen and their "good cop", "bad cop" politicians WOULD BE EXTREMELY PAINFUL...and one must be carefull what you wish for...'cause you might not like what's left.

....just another point of view on this interesting topic....

Jack - Maybe you need to start a new forum called Urban Myths. This topic would generate lots of discussion right next to Atlantis, Big Foot, and Santa Claus. YYZ and company would have a field day over there.

Somehow Bush stuck his d i c k in the ocean and created Hurricane Katrina with his girth to destroy New Orleans. Then he decided to design bombs that look like airplanes with human clones to destroy the twin towers. Unbelievable...

No, what's unbelievable, is that you continue to run your mouth in this fashion.

Someone questions things, and you say they believe in Bigfoot. Get your shit straight, you fukking dope!

People say that the Bush administration is not being forward in talking about 9/11, and you equate that to them blaming him for a hurricane. Grow up once and for all, you useless tool.
