The Buick Riviera is one of the best cars of ALL TIME:shrug:

The Lincoln Mark 8 and the Riviera are the best sports luxury cars on the road. Unbelievable power and 27 mpg on the highway:scared

Keep the pimpmobile or do you have trade it now that you are "taken" and can't keep the babes away:mj07:

Just little shit here and there going on with it. Squeaky belt, AC won't blow cold anymore, needs tires, some of the paint is fading....hell I have wrecked it twice!

You can still drive it with your pinky at 100mph and is the most comfortable car EVER.....

Sure is nice having no car payment and liability only insurance...

Let me guess, the paint is fading on the trunk:shrug:

Every one I have ever seen {including mine} do that if they are not garage kept:scared

How many miles? You are getting to the point of do you put money into an old car with no payments OR put that money into a new car with warranty:shrug:

Yep, my paint was fading around the top of the roof around the doors and over the windshield. Something about their paint oxidizes in the sun, a common problem with those cars

Take it to MAACO and get one of those special $299 paint jobs and be just like new:mj07:

With the job I have I drive about 3000 miles a month highway miles. From oneside of NY to the other.(work at fishkill correctional by the city and live near buffalo) I just bought a Toyota Yaris. I love it I get around 40 miles to the gallon. The car drives great. Lacks in the power department but I only paid 14,700 loaded for it so definitly worth the money. Plus Toyota vechiles last forever and don't depreciate in value as much as other cars. Go for it agent the money you save in gas will put a smile on your face everytime you fill up.

It's kinda nice getting 650 miles from one 13 gallon fillup. Drove from Las Vegas to Chicago only making 3 gas stops!

Chad: I didn't like Prius when my fiance test drove it last year. The goofy functions make it feel like your not operating a normal car and I didn't like the rearview window visibility. She ended up getting the Honda Civic Hybrid and we both love it. It is more like a normal car, and it has a full rearview window.

that was part of why i chose the civic too. it was less expensive, less in demand, and i actually preferred the look. plus, i could get a stick shift, which i think wasn't availabe or in stock with the prius. ....ended up being the better choice mileage wise at the time too since i do mostly highway driving.

I agree about the rear view mirror. It was def a weird view. They do have that back up camera for reversing.

Also, kinda agree on the 'gadget' stuff. Pretty cool but I accidentally turned the car off instead of putting it in park. (There is a button for power, and right next to it a button for park).

Might not be the best for everyday usage. All those options on the little monitor. You could spend 20 minutes trying to set the A/C.

Not going to get one, just too quirky for me, but might check into what Smurph drives....
