The Canadians tried to play rugby and it didn't work. There were at least 5 penalty shouts that were all not called. If there was any officiating bias, it wasn't in favor of the US.
Nice to see the lucky Americans celebrate with class.
Not only was the game fixed for them to get into the gold medal game they do this......

But I'm guessing none of the girls on that team care, and really why should anyone else. They won, they were given shirts from a major sponsor and wore them as part of their celebration. Oh well. If that is the biggest travesty of the Olympics, then the games were pretty clean and non-controversial.

What our neighbors to the north keep failing to realize is that if you want to bitch, moan, whine, and complain like 3rd graders for something that happened late in the game; you have to grow up and be big boys and girls and not ignore something that happened early in the game.
The CLASSLESS move by the Canadian, Tancredi, should have been a red card. A red card would have put her out of the game, thus Canada playing with one less player than the US for around 61 minutes I believe.
If you cannot look at this objectively, then grow up. The call on the keeper was complete BS, I agree. However, if any of the damn officials saw this classless move, there would never have been a call to whine about.

You can also say the official was wearing an US jersey, but not thank her for booting your ass out of the game. I was thinking the same thing. You've posted in this thread 9 times since Skipper posted the link to the head stomping and you haven't commented about it once.
I already commented on the "head stomp".......I said 90 percent of the game was officiated in USA favour.
If anybody thinks the USA didn't get a gift by being in the final then you were not watching the same game that the rest of the world watched.

And call them cocky. Goes with the territory, not many people/teams that take first are called cry-babies, but they are often called cocky. Same can be said of third-place teams, not often are they called cocky but could very easily be seen as whiners.
