What is the squaretrade mediation. I had a guy stiff me on Ebay last week for an autographed Football helmet. Would love to know what this is cause I don't think Ebay is going to do much about this.

Thanks

Check it out. I've never had to use the "request a mediator" feature but have used it before when trying to get people to pay who don't want to pay, before leaving negative feedback, it helps. Also, I have used it when I have not received goods I paid for as a "threat", always helps in my experience. I've only filed 2 complaints with it and have not requested a mediator though because I never have needed one, I've thankfully always been able to work it out with the buyer/seller.

They're getting a GUIDE not a PHONE.

Nowhere do I say I'm selling a PHONE.

So I should say "hey dumbass do you realize your getting a GUIDE not a PHONE!!!

LOL

Personally I would just email the buyer and tell them, u r just setting urself up w/a chitload of complaint issues, it just isn't worth it over $160. Tell the dude u bid on it send me $50 and we will call it even, cause he was the dumbass that didn't read the title right. I have been selling on ebay since 98 and it just isn't worth having a customer thinking ur misleading him.

Take the payment and write the buyer a letter. In the letter warn him about people who aren't as kind as yourself. Stick said letter in an envelope inside the guide with a print out of the auction (highlight "booklet") and an amout of money.

Keep $20 or whatever you think is fair plus shipping.

Karma will reward you.

Agree with this, except the karma part since I think there is no such thing as that.

Anybody know where I can get some of these booklets??

How come no one has asked the most obvious question yet.

Are you that hard up for $$ that you need to sell a freaking instruction booklet?

Hey, no offense if you are, but since this is a gambling forum it's kind of ironic.

:talk: Too funny. :talk:

Cleaning out the closets.
Believe it or not someone is always in need of even the littlest of things.

Don't think for a minute the E-bayers are hard-up.
It's fun as well as addicting and as we found out today educational ;)

No offence taken.

PS I've NEVER been in the red :nono:

Come on know, you may be a "senor" but I've been around here long enough to know that!

Just busting your balls.

By the way, I know there's been more than once I've been swearing knee deep in a hall closet looking for a fawking instruction booklet! :talk:
