This thread is kind of lagging due to the extended time off the Pens have had. Should be an entertaining series. Would be nice if the schmucks in the West would finish off their series so they can schedule this important Eastern Final.

Yup, I'm interested if Iginla and Morrow can have an impact in this series after they both chose the Pens over the B's

Pens were 3-0 on the year against the Bruins. Vokoun was in the net for 2 of those as was Rask for Boston.

Iginla has somewhat quietly racked up 12 points in the Pens 11 playoff games. 4th on the team in pts for the playoffs. He had one point in the one game he played vs. Boston after the trade.

Boston will likely use the typical rough style that others have tried to employ against Pittsburgh to rattle them and get them to take penalty minutes. After only having one more Power Play then the Islanders in that series, the Pens played more disciplined vs. Ottawa. They tallied 6 more Power Plays then the Senators and was a big reason they cruised in that series.

Also I'm looking forward to a big playoff performance by Malkin. Guy was MIA last year in the embarassing loss to the Flyers.

Pretty solid playoff performance thus far by Geno. Despite some typical defensive lapses and turnovers, he is tied for highest point producer on the team in the post-season with 16. Time to turn it up for the Bruins though. Malkin missed the three games against Boston in the regular season.

I've been slacking, time to turn things around like LA did last night. I have confidence in this no-D playing Pens team.

Pittsburgh -105
Pittsburgh +275 for the series
