I love this shit lol... it's all speculation about who's better than whom, but it's kinda fun to see diff people's opinions.
I am not a ND hater.... but just because a team hasn't lost doesn't mean they have necessarily played great and are one of the elite teams. Louisville just went down last wk... are they a great team?
*I am glad to see ND return to respectability among the upper echelons of College Fb.
*I like Kelly a LOT! program is moving in the right direction again (finally)
*IMO, ND def is very solid, but far superior to their offense...
*and be honest now... they really haven't played much of a schedule have they?
They can only play who's on the schedule, but they haven't impressed me much... ask Kansas St about Oklahoma.
Navy? Purd? Mich St, Mich? Boston Coll? Wake F? a lucky win vs Pitt?
And the lucky win vs Stanford?
ND kinda got a little lucky late in the game, and I wanna see hands of all the people that thought Stanf got "jobbed" on the game tying TD that wasn't...
Im just saying that I don't think their offense could score enuf vs an elite team to win this year.
and I don't think there are many elite teams this yr.
OREGON is the best team in my opinion.... I don't think any team in the country can stop them. Even Alabama and LSU, etc
(Here's where I upset a lot of people probly lol) Honestly, barring excessive turnovers....
what do you think the scores would be if Oregon played their best offensive starters the whole game on a neutral field vs:
ND..... 56-17 on grass? 62-20? and omg, what if it was turf instead of grass?
Kan St...... 59-45?
Alabama..... 48-28? I think 'Bama has tremendous defensive athletes, but we saw what some innovative speed can do to their defense...
Tex A+M..... 62-48?
Barring injuries, I don't think anyone could stay close to them this yr.
I've seen them play 5 or 6 times.... it is amaaazing how much team speed they have. And the pace they play gets teams a little frazzled to say the least.
Saban thinks they need to change the rules so Oregon isn't allowed to run their plays as soon as the referee spots the ball ready for play... says it isn't fair... it isn't real football to play like that.... what??? :mj07:
not tryin to start shit w/anyone... so don't take this personally k?
It's just fun bullshitting about this stuff right?
I know media people don't see Oregon play when they have sat nite games, and the media has their deadlines and Oregon just doesn't get seen as much imo.
They still have to play Stanford and Ore St (HUGE rivalry gm) and then the Pac 12 championship game..
and what I'm more interested in is.... selecting winners on the betting card
take care everyone! We've got another 7 wks or so to go!! wooohoooo!! enjoy da ride!
