8 runs after 1.5 innings - on the way to 10' over...

Since the, 18 runners left on base combined... many with less than 2 out and runner at 3rd...

Geesh!

Both teams use their closers to finish off the 9th inning in a 8-1 game - certainly didn't help...

And, of course, both teams stranded runners in scoring position again...

I could just scream - handicapped it right, made my biggest play of the year - and BAM - the gambling gods teased me and slapped me silly .......

What hurt the inning was Ginter getting forced by Perez...

The next batter hit a grounder to Renteria, who bobbled it 5 times and still got Perez sliding into 2nd....

Any other runner in the world, including most toddlers, make 2nd base standing.....

Of course, the Brewers will use their closer but not even consider pinch running for the biggest butt in baseball....

There is a reason the Brewers are the worst team in baseball - they didn't get there by luck..
