Can someone explain why this line is this low?

If I had a game of the year, it would be on the Cards tonight.

I believe the line-ups are the same (this remains to be seen in the starting line-ups), but the pitching is a mismatch.

I will wait to see the SLU's but if the Card's are not resting players tonight, I am hitting this one hard...

i am on the cards as well and i took it now because i think it will go up. i do not see how the cards can afford to rest many important players with the current standings. each game is vitally important for them so i naturally assume to see their best lineup on the field. good luck

Cards behind Morris only 7-7 on the road with a 4.95 ERA. Mlicki has actually pitched well at home 2-0 2.74 ERA. HOU is leading the season series 6-4. Reasons enough for the short line.

Good luck

You want a reason:
At Busch: Morris 14-2 1.74 ERA
Outside Busch:Morris 6-5 4.95 ERA

Granted in September Morris is 3-0 with 1 earned run given up in 15 innings, and Mlicki is 2-3 with a 8.52 ERA over 12 games against St. Louis. But the the Astros have won 7 of the ten games Mlicki has started. Also Dotel should be ready to come out of the bullpen tonight.
Interesting game I'm looking forward to watch tonight.

Yes, but have the cards not won 11 out of 12 or 10 of 11 or something like that...

Still on the Cards...plus a 4.95 ERA on the road means nothing to me at Enron...

We shall see...

I'll post a few comments on this game as I've worked fairly hard on it.

Lizard, I'll address your comment first. I agree, being in Houston and a very suspect Mlicki - hard to play the under. But, these two teams have played low when Morris is on the mound. Granted Morris (STL) won last time out in Houston 4-1, I believe. That was agaist Miller though. Tell me how Mlicki will pitch. I say poorly. Not knowing the umpire has kept me off this game.

Now to the Dr. We've had several conversations via the internet this year. Always respected your opinions, so here's my take.

Pitching: You have #1 starter in Morris vs a 4 or 5 starter for Houston. Both SP playing well as of late. Morris still has the edge.

BP: Decent edge to the Cards.

Streak goes to the Cards favor again.

As far as RH starting pitchers, Cards bats get the slight edge again.

Mlicki has not faced the Cards this year. Again a fourth starter in the rotation at best.

Play Cards.

no Big Mac in starting line-up,but the rest is the same. I would have liked to see him in there, but I'm still on them.

lounge,

I was the idiot who played on the Chiefs yesterday.

There are several factors of course, but it's extremely hard to play on teams with new coaches. I should have recognized that.

Hoping the Chiefs win one game this year, against the Skins and Jimmy Raye OC. Jimmy Raye should have been banned from this league many years ago for his incompetence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just one man's opinion.

What is wrong with me?
I feel like crap right now thinking I had a game pegged and it totally goes the other way. I didn't lose an incredible amount of money (thanks willpower and money mangement), but I hate when I research a game and think I have it right on because this is normally the result...
Sorry to those who went with the Cards tonight...that was awful...simply awful..

DF -- don't worry pal.....happened to me yesterday......

Dave Milicki seems to be throwing like Dave Stewart.

I lost on this one too -- Morris has been tough on stros all year. Stros offense is heating up....probably not best to play against them as dogs at Enron......gl on the rest of your card
