You know the conspiracy talk doesnt bother me in the least.........these are people who are just to lazy or to stupid to look at all the possibilities.........

Are there conspiracies...........sure..........but there are also things that happen that are not conspiracies...........to me its just a matter of checking into things and trying to analyze things for yourself............20 years ago this would be a hard thing to do but today with the internet anyone can study and learn any topic they choose..........

i hear you bro. You think politics are bad you need to take a look a t sports. Its even more corrupt. Im not sure where you ear is on this (sports) but id love to hear it sometime. i have seen so many strange things in sports to recognize something is very wrong here. Its a billion dollar industry and when you have a billion dollar industry there is always corruption in some way. Im still trying to see when the higher ups produce a law to screw the porn industry. That is a lot of money they can't seem to get their hands on.

Maverick and Sponge,
I've always found this sort of talk pretty interesting. I was wondering if either of you were familiar with the CFR and their sister org..the Royal Institue on International Affairs in Britain?
Maverick you're absolutely dead on about ol man Bush and Clinton being pretty "tight".
Heck they're both CFR men as well as tri-lats. Even Powell is a CFR boy. One man I've found well worth reading about is PETE PETERSON the old Chairman of the CFR and Federal Reserve Bank Chairman of NY. Peterson is also founder of the BLACKSTONE GROUP as well as a close "associate" of both GREENSPAN and VOLKER. Now this guy is a REAL shaker , mover, and shotcaller behind the scenes...regardless of which puppet party is in power.

Very familiar with both..........anyone debating politics would do themselves a big favor and read up and see who is a member of both these groups.........it gives a good idea on where our policy is coming from...........of course the average american Joe watching their Fox and CNN would think CFR was some kind of video component while arguing such nonsense as liberals vs conservatives.................

Take the time and look into the events at Waco and Oklahoma City...........I was shocked to hear all of the evidence from citizens, investigative reporters close to both situations and this led me to some research and after this research I realized how much BS we are all fed from the mainstream print and media.......both stories turn out to be completely different from what we all learned in the first place........I choose these 2 instances because the facts are there with both of these events........government coverups......

Oh, what a very good post indeed. :toast:

...but, as you say, apparently this is too hard for some people...or maybe not so hard, but they feel more comfortable not knowing the facts (I have no recollection! LOL!!), and simply calling out anyone who disagrees "traitors" or some other such rubbish.

fwiw, I've got a very good doco on Waco on tape...utterly amazing how many lies were told there...
...lies shown to be lies by REAL evidence...

...but again, most (literally most...as in 90% I guess) will never know, will not ever want to know and so simply believe what they are fed.

Sad really...I mean literally, quite sad. :(

Hadn't been back to this thread till I saw your posting Chad. I stand by my initial post--but did answer in another thread I believe.-
but in addition simple logic would tell me--
A: no doubt UBL was responsible attack on trade towers
B: UBL hates Saudi gov and visa versa
C: per above doubtful Saudi gov was responsible

---in fact Saudi has almost been as effective fighting terrorist as liberals have in aiding and abetting them--and no humor intended.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
From Middle East Times 11-06
http://www.metimes.com/storyview.php?StoryID=20061109-112649-8783r

Since May 2003 Saudi security officials have captured 845 individuals with direct or indirect links to Al Qaeda. Over 400 have attended "ideological re-education programs." Some 264 Al Qaeda commanders, logisticians, theologians, financiers, and fighters have been captured or killed. Of the original 26 members that comprised the first "most wanted" list, all but one have been killed or captured and all five initial Al Qaeda cells have been identified, infiltrated and decimated.

Of 36 second-tier operatives comprising the second "most wanted" list, 20 had already fled the kingdom when the list was published. Of the remaining 16, only four have not been killed or captured. Saudi intelligence believes that it was this group that carried out a recent failed attack on the oil processing facility at Abqaiq.

Saudi security forces have been able to foil over 25 major terrorist attacks since May 2003. The kingdom's security services have identified four of the main routes used by terrorists to smuggle themselves, fighters, weapons, and drugs in and out of the country. Painstaking police work and close surveillance has resulted in hundreds of interceptions along the Saudi-Yemeni border.

---and what say you Smurph--and fellow liberal lemmings??????

P.S. Feel free to put up list of terrorist captured or killed in our last administration. You can name them indivdually and won't take up but a couple of lines--

Opinion>Pelosi "We are just as tough on terror"
Fact> Terrorist and terrorist countries still dancing in street over election.

Are you really serious trying to say some info from a newspaper reporter (the middle east times) we are suppose to believe a credible or even accurate???

I am not debating whether the info is true, accurate or whatever but do you really believe something you read like that which could be just some propanganda promoting an agenda???

I did google video.........Waco,Rules of Engagement...........watching this video really opened my eyes ........even implicating the Clinton WH, Janet Reno etc.etc.........

Google search J.D. Cash........and read his invistigation on the Oklahoma City Bombing and you will also find information that you will hardly be able to believe........but not just any info........facts that are not even argued by government entities...... just kept hush..hush........

I guess when you realize the FACT......"Government agencies were guilty of shooting men, women and children running out of a burning building" ..........

Anyone can watch the Waco, ROE if they dont believe it.......

Whats weird is that that happened over 10 yrs ago and I had no clue about the real story and if someone would have told me this I probably would not have believed them.........what I remember watching on tv was not the whole story.....
