There is not a better defense out there and the offense has been held under 23 only 3 times this season. The only tricky thing here is how much the team will get caught up in having all the attention on a big game on a Monday night. They have much bigger games in front of them with the Saints, whereas the outcome of this non-conference game will probably have less to do with how this season turns out than most any game from here on out. Even if they win tonight, a split with the Saints will still leave them out of the division champ mix. A loss tonight and a sweep of the Saints would tie them with NO, and they would have the tiebreaker. So to the fans, this feels like the biggest game for the Panthers in a while. In reality, last week's win and the Saints games coming up dwarf this one.
