Carson Palmer ----> Raiders

I was wanting to hear everyone's reaction to the trade the Bengals and Raiders made today. Carson Palmer in exchange for 1 first rounder and another conditonal first rounder in 2013 if the Raiders win a playoff game... I think it is insane for the Raiders to give up that much for a QB who has an obvious disinterest in the game as well as injury history.

I figured when Al Davis passed away, the illogical moves of that franchise would go with him. Guess not. I realize they were in dire need of a QB, but 2 first rounders for Carson Palmer at this point of his career?

it`s a load....but,imo,if campbell was winning with the raiders,i think palmer will be much better...

i really believe that anybody that had to deal with houshmanzadeh and ochocinco...and then owens to boot would probably rather smash their own balls with a big hammer than take the field....

i really think the guy does well....

If they win a playoff game, they will and should be more than happy to lose 2 first round picks. Palmer could have 5+ good years left in him. Great move by the Raiders IMHO.
