This is the second time I've typed this due to losing the first version.......that combined with my Hou/Wiz total push.....just been that kinda day.
However here....it is again:
-This Lucas Cav team is not the same bunch who lost 12 straight earlier in the season.
-Lucas got Tyrone Hill back Saturday night....and he looked great against da Bulls Saturday night. He scored 16 pts., got 8 offensive and 7 defensive boards.
-Murray the "masked man" has been red hot in his last 3. He's scored 37, 22, 11, 12, 15, 2, & 4 in his return against the Pistons. The Cavs are 4-2 since Murray came back.
-Yes, Utah has won 4 straight....but against the NY Quiters, Vinceless Tor, Disfunctional Philly and Inconsistant Indy.
-Also, the Jazz began this road trip with losses to Hou and Memp. Two teams who can get up and down the floor.
-One might counter that the Cavs 4 straight have been against the likes of Hou, Tor, Mil and Chi.....not exactly the top of the NBA.
-At least the Cavs beat the Rockets.....and yes....Francis played in both games!
-Therefore, looking at recent common opponents:
Cavs.......Jazz
+2..........-7 against Hou
+8..........+9 against Tor
+13.........+12 against Chi
-To me Lucas is foolish if he doesn't push the ball hard all night long and run this "old fart" Jazz team into the ground.
-He has a deeper bench and a better rested team to play at a faster tempo. Miller, Murray and Hill can take down this "two man" Stockton/Malone team if they'll push it and wear 'em out.
-The Knicks just tried to play half-court and trade shots with the Jazz last night.....we all saw how well that worked!!!!
-Plus.....if your on the Jazz....free throw shooting last night ought to worry ya. I think the Jazz were 9 of 27 from the line last night??
I will play-----> Cleveland -2 GL ez
