Bring in Amare and lets win this fucking thing....Thought about both sides of this and I would welcome Amare and let JJ go in the trade....Hickson is solid but is not as proven as Amare.Amare isn't big on D but neither is JJ.Hickson is usually out of position for rebounds where as Amare is a beast on the glass and much better offensively. If we add Amare and only give up JJ & a pick I would do it in a heartbeat.Anyone else have thoughts on this?Would like to debate this a little.
I know most will say well Amare & Shaq didn't work together in Phnx but that was a different system.Clev could have 2 systems where they work Shaq early and draw fouls then go high speed when the other team is in foul trouble.

Z wouldn't bother me,but supposedly a big factor with Lebron. He has been there all the time with LBJ.I don't see us landing Jamison. Thanks for the feedback.

I've said this for a long time...LeBron will never get a title with the players he's had around him. Shaq is way past his prime, so that pick up was not the answer. Amare on the other hand is NOT past his prime and is a definite step towards a championship!!! One more supporting cast solid player and their chances to compete with Lakers are right there!! I know they beat LA twice this season, but Lakers are different team in post season. With the current team, Cavs have no chance in a 7 game series with Lakers IMO. Amare would be a HUGE pick up for LeBron/Cleveland!!

First of all if Z is in the trade he will be back in a Cleveland Uniform in a month. Second of all they will not get Jamison and im not sure they need him. Jamison is a guy who needs touches and isnt what oyu would consider a guy that bangs he is more of a finesse 4.

Stoudemire will demand double team in the Cavs system or he will score all night. He has also improved on his 15-18 ft range jumper which means he can step out or square up and hit the jumper which will also keep the lanes open for Lebron.

While I agree Shaq isnt what he used to be the fact is he doesnt have to be as dominant he was brought in for one simple reason and that was to bang on Howard and make Howard guard him which puts him in foul trouble or harms way at least. Bringing in Stoudemire also will make it so Howard cant go off of Shaq and let Gortat guard him cuz now he would have to guard stoudemire.

Last I think this also helps the rotation out a ton. They can now keep Stoudemire on the floor when Lebron and Shaq are resting and still have scoring on the floor when in the past they have struggled.
