I'll be at this game in Lincoln!! It's a different atmosphere now as the team has been winning, everyone in Nebraska was used to Nebraska winning in football and meh in the other sports, then football tanked by politics internally, the women's volleyball took off basketball sucked for both men's and women's, now they are flourishing with the NIL booster bucks bringing in foreign talent and Hoiberg's experience and contacts with better staffing additions have made this program formidable in the BIG10 and for the Nation. They had a 12 point lead with minutes left at Michigan of all places without Frager who's an up and comer and Mast a big bruiser they could have used to keep Michigan big men at bay, however, they succumbed and lost by a trey getting double digits on the road. Illini have a solid coach and Stojakovic and Wagler can shoot however Husker "D" should keep them from their streaky shooting hot streaks in Lincoln. Ref crew for this tilt favors the home team so could be a lot of whistle blowing!!
