really liking the way this one sets up -

mich off of a huge win earlier in the week against arch-rival msu - arky off of a nationally televised beatdown on the road at the hands of uk

mich now travels down south for an out of conf tilt while the next 4 games on their schedule read like a who's who of big 10 bball (purdue, ohio st, indiana, michst) - for arky this game is the biggest game of the season to this point as they are in desperate need of a signature win

both teams have a significant home/road dichotomy (mich 1-3 on the road, arky unbeaten in fayetteville)

simply put, this game means way more to the Hogs than it does to mich - and it doesn't hurt that the Hogs are at home

play:

arky p

going to go ahead and post this one now as i may not be around later -

not sure what's up with L'ville this year (injuries have obviously played a part) but they don't seem to have the heart that card teams have possessed in the past - and despite pitt's woes the panthers have been competitive in their last 2 vs ranked teams on the road and they seem to be turning the corner a bit

this is a GOY type situation for pitt - college gameday is there and it is now or never for this season - sure the panthers are sick of losing and i think that their effort level will be sky high tonight

add that to the fact that you have a team who is 0-6 in BE conf play laying points to a team who, despite being a disappointment to this point in the season, is still ranked in the top 25, and I think you have a recipe for a winner

play:

pitt - 3
