Much like the Butler/Florida game, guard play will be more important than the bigs. Tempo will decide this game, and the Kentucky guards will dictate the tempo in their favor. They easily managed tempo vs. Ohio State, and I look for a similiar result today.

Too much love for VCU. VCU is a tired team playing on weary legs, if you watched the latter stages of Friday's physically and mentally exhausting overtime win against Florida State ending after midnight. For a team that thrives on playing up-tempo and forcing turnovers, being fatigued is a no-no, especially when Kansas awaits them. The Jayhawk tendency for turnovers bothers me if VCU had not played the late OT game. A fresh four guard VCU attack could present some problems. I also can't see VCU's big guy much of a factor without getting into foul trouble.
