i noticed in the day games today they were putting up "type of pitch and speed of each pitch".

tonight they don't seem to be doing it.

does anyone know if they did it for all games yesterday or this going to be a hit and miss type of thing?

did not check mlb.com scoreboard or espn for this -- are they doing it ?

I saw it earlier as well, but nothing now (at least on the Cards game that I'm following). CBS was the only place I saw it. It could vary by stadium, depending on if they have a radar gun or not. Just a thought.

i love this. now i can track each pitch and gauge if the pitchers are gaining/losing velocity, to better handicap their next performance for fatigue, current form, etc. Also, I can incorporate the kind of pitches to see what kind of approach the pitcher/catcher are using for each hitter, and develop my own scouting reports. :)

yea right!

I was stuck at work on Opening Day and went to Yahoo Sports and they had nothing. Went to ESPN.com and they had nothing, then out of frustration, I went to CBS Sportsline and couldn't beleive what I saw. I will never go back to Yahoo or ESPN for watching games on the computer. Hard to ask for anything else from a computer tracker for baseball.
